STS Requester

STS Requester is a command line tool for transferring files with URL syntax, recognising file, http, and https.

It currently supports the following authentication protocols:

Custom headers
Basic authentication
Digest authentication
Proxy authorization - no authentication
Proxy authorization - Basic authentication
Proxy authorization - Digest authentication
Cookies - loads cookies from file with cookiejar handling
Cookies - static cookie string

The following http components are also handled:

http 0.9, 1.0 and 1.1
https/ssl/tls - does not verify if certificate is present
Cookie handling - cookie jar recognises Set-cookie in header
Compression handling (gzip) - Faster downloads (60%)
301, 302 redirect handling
Proxy handling
